Fall Date Night Ideas

5

Fall season is officially here which means it’s time to throw on a flannel shirt and enjoy some fun outdoor activities before it gets too cold! Planning a fall date doesn’t have to be stressful and it doesn’t need to involve spending lots of money. There are so many fun fall date ideas that don’t cost a thing! Whether you and your partner both enjoy hiking and exploring new trails or staying in cozying up on the couch and watching your favorite scary movie, the ideas are endless and you’re sure to have a blast no matter what as long as you’re in each other’s company. If
you’re looking for some inspiration, I’ve gathered a list of 5 fall date night ideas below that you and your partner can try out!

Apple Picking
Choose a day where you and your partner spend an afternoon apple picking! This is a fun one if you want to dress up cute to get out of the house and enjoy the fall weather. Take some of the apple’s home and look up an easy recipe to make a delicious homemade apple pie. Pair it with
vanilla bean ice cream for extra sweetness.

Football season
With Fall comes football. I don’t know about you but one of my favorite things about football is tailgating. Music, food, good company, what more do you need? Throw together a yummy dip with chips and head to a game near you. It can be a college team, professional, or even your local high school game!

Fall Festival
You must go to at least one festival every Fall season, it’s an unwritten rule! If you and your partner love riding rides, playing games and trying different food vendors, check out if there’s a carnival or a fair in your area! There’s always a fair here in Virginia Beach during the fall season
and it’s so much fun. Go on a hayride, get on a Ferris wheel, and grab a funnel cake and some pumpkins to carve before you head out. Plus, if you go later at night, you could go on a haunted hayride or even go through a haunted house or corn maze! If you couldn’t tell, this is one of my
favorite Fall date nights to do with my husband!

Take A Hike
Now that the temperature has cooled down and it’s not so hot outside, it’s the perfect time to put on your best hiking shoes to explore the outdoors! Find a doable hiking trail that you and your partner will enjoy, try one you haven’t been to before to make it extra fun and adventurous. You’ll even be able to see the beautiful change in color of all the leaves around you. Pack a nice
little picnic and a card game to enjoy in a scenic area to rest, refuel, and rejuvenate your relationship.

Scary Movie Marathon
If you and your partner enjoy being in each other’s company at home, this date night idea is for you and the best part is it doesn’t cost anything. Cozy up and spend the night watching your favorite scary movies, I recommend watching all the Halloween movies in order! You can spruce
it up by roasting marshmallows, making smores and carving pumpkins.
