Fun April Fools Pranks

April Fool’s Day is a great way to start the month off in a fun and lighthearted way. Keep in mind that it’s important to be safe and not damage or vandalize anybody’s belongings or personal property. So, if you are looking for a list of pranks you can pull on your friends and family, look no further! I have gathered a few fun ideas that will make April Fools a memorable  day and will have everyone crying (tears of laughter, that is!)  

Salty Coffee 

Starting bright and early, this prank will be great for the ones who always make their coffee first  thing in the morning when they wake up! Swap the sugar for salt so when your target goes to take their first sip of morning fuel, they will be in for a salty surprise! This prank is a classic and  it’s always a fun way to start the day. I recommend having a proper cup of coffee on the side ready for them so that they get the saltiness out of their mouths, and maybe they will be more  forgiving!  

Package Galore 

If you are one of the many who enjoy ordering things online like Amazon weekly, this one will  be great to pull on your spouse! This prank requires planning ahead. Start saving up your boxes that you get two to three weeks before April Fool’s Day, you can even use old boxes lying  around the house, then on April 1^st set all the boxes out by your front door to trick your spouse into thinking you just went on the biggest shopping spree!  

Cookie Monster 

This one is great to use on little kids because it involves cookies! Who doesn’t love cookies? Pull apart the Oreo cookies and replace the filling in the middle with toothpaste. Stick the cookies back together and tell your kids it’s time for a snack! Pour a glass of milk with a side of cookies on a plate and depending on the type of toothpaste you used, be ready for their surprised reactions that will have them bursting with disgust and/or laughter! 

Sponge Cake 

Decorate and serve a delicious sponge cake that is more sponge than cake! This is an easy one, especially if you aren’t the best baker. Simply stack sponges on top of each other and add a few layers of frosting all over it. Let the kids or your friends dig into the cake and watch as their excited faces drop to disbelief when they realize it’s not actually dessert! (Make sure they don’t  take a bite!) 

Honk, Honk! 

This one will have your driver questioning everything! Write on a large piece of paper “Honk at me! (Drive doesn’t know) Happy April Fool’s!”. Tape the sign to the back of your friends or partners car and let the prank commence! Drivers will start honking at them on the drive all the way to their destination. Be sure to distract them when getting in the car so they don’t see the  sign!
